What is EcoWarriors?EcoWarriors is an environmental organization working to create new sustainable opportunities and alternatives on Wright State's campus.

Are there dues?Dues for this organization can be be paid in three different ways. 1) Donation Letter Members can write a letter to five other people about EcoWarriors asking the receiver to contribute a donation to the group on the member's behalf. 2) Monetary Fee Members can also pay $25 to EcoWarriors. 3) If a member is unable to write the letters or pay the $25, they can appeal to the President and Vice President. Should both the President and Vice President agree the situation is appropriate, the member can complete one hour of service for every $3 of the dues they would haved paid. This will result in eight hours of service.

What is the money from dues used for?Dues will be used to support advertising for the group, provide a T-shirt to all members, provide refreshments for meetings, and supply all EcoWarriors events.

What are the requirements for joining EcoWarriors?In order to join, members must: be a student at Wright State University agree not to discriminate against individuals for their race, national origin, religion, gender, status, age, sexual orientation, and/or ability status volunteer for at least one hour per academic year attend at least half of the meetings each semester and one volunteering event be willing to explore and promote new ideas about sustainability on campus

How much of a time commitment will this be?Meetings are weekly, along with a requirement of one hour of volunteer service and attending one volunteer event. See our social media for meeting times.

What is Chute to Africa?Chute to Africa is a petition to create a donation collection service that can send unused or unneeded items to people who need them. For more information visit here.
